This Is a really cool guitar! It's the second electric guitar I made and represents a lot of experimentation. The main part of the body is a made out of and English Walnut log that I milled as a teenager and made my first several guitars with, but this guitar also has a top hand carved from a piece of old growth fir reclaimed cupboard door. The top wood is very tightly grained and sonorous. The neck was made by Mighty Mite and came with a blank paddle headstock. Inspired by a knot in a piece of veneer that resembled a reptile eye I cut the headstock in the shape of am open mouthed turtle.

I just went over this guitar and fixed some issues, and its is playing and feeling great. It's a very lively and resonant guitar and even has a surprisingly loud acoustic sounds. It Has a very comfortable chunkier vintage profile neck and big frets. The Alumitone pickup is very transparent and quiet not to mention super cool looking.

This is a pretty incredible hand made guitar for the price
